Well Made
I have just installed an AC system to my bedroom - a split unit - and I wanted to check it and gas it up if needed. Now, I appreciate that this isn't entirely what many folks would tackle and this unit is made to suit a car not a domestic system which, I used it for.It should only be used on a vaccumed system according to the instructions which, is correct. However, if you have a system in use then that's not much use to you. I used this on a charged system to determine the gas pressure but I'm very familiar with AC systems having been a Chief Engineer on a ship for decades. As for the actual unit, well, it's well made, accurate enough for my needs although I suspect that when the manufacturer states the gauge is factory calibrated what the actually mean is that they shoved the needle on the guage at the zero mark.Overall a cheap way to check your AC to help gas it up if you have or can get hold of the gas.
