Better Than the Hammer Crimper I used to use
Already used this several times. I help install and or repair several solar electric systems every year. I have been using a hammer crimper for years and it works okay. This is many times better. It might not be as good as some of the much more expensive models but I have no experience with those. All I can say is they work great to make a solid connection.

Arrived in Bad Condition
The product I received was either built badly to begin with, or it was a bad attempt to pass off a used tool as new. It arrived with red paint THAT WAS STILL WET on the handle, see picture. The rest of the paint job looks very spotty as well.. The adjuster wheel also won't hold the position you set it to. Just opening and closing the tool is enough to shift the position it's in. The crimping head doesn't even appear to align properly either, see picture. I do not recommend. Probably the fastest I have ever returned a product.

Does the job
I'm updating my electric car conversion to lithium batteries. The lead acid batteries used cables with heavy terminals attached to the posts. I borrowed a hex head ratcheting crimper for those and it stil required a lot of effort. Lithium batteries use lugs which are much easier to crimp. This tool did the job at half the price of a ratcheting hex crimper.

The goods was delivered fast and correct goods were received. However expected to get a round neck crimp but it is still working ok and it crimps bigger wires better.

passed the pull test. but difficult to work with.
could never find the right size gauge for a HD lug. Also, the rotary gauge seemed to move when i would set it down while flipping the lug over. for the price i would rather pay $50 for one that is hexagonal and will give consistent crimps. The crimps themselves seem to be mil spec and definitely passed the pull test, but does not give a good airtight 6 sided crimp.

Nice crimpers
These really are EZ Crimpers. I use these for terminal repair on the road side and they work great. Just do the first crimp then do a 1/4 turn and crimp again. I used them on a 1# gage brass terminal with ease.

Bought them and they don’t work they were damaged and bent when I got them

Gets It Done
It just works. I like the ability to adjust the depth of the crimp. It allows you to compensate for... stuff.
