They worked great! Used them all vacation in the pool! Other guests would see them and they wanted one. Holds the drink very well.

Q: Do these stay afloat on natural bodies of water with small waves? Want to use it on a lake but don’t want them to tip over.

They float but they tip upside down unless you have a drink shorter than a can of soda and even then they are wobbly and very top heavy. They are cute but not practical at all, even in the pool. Wouldn't recommend in the pool or any body of water as they kept flipping upside down.

Q: Do these work for 12 oz slim cans or only regular soda can size?

It fits snugly on a regular can but the slim cans will float. My friend had snacks with her white claw there!

Q: What is the little tube of liquid that it comes with?

I believe that is a liquid patch to fix a hole.
