Q: Does the camera have a screw hole in the base to allow you to attach a mini tripod?

No my doesn’t, but does have a hole which you can place over a screw. I was disappointed with this aspect, as I was going to connect it to the cot on my small camera tripod.

Q: Does the video stream come on on parent unit when noise is being detected?

Hi there! When the monitor is On and the LCD screen Off, if there is a sound in the room the audio will play at full volume. However, you will need to turn the LCD screen back on manually to view the live video. The good news is that we are going to include this feature to auto turn on the screen when sound is detected in a future update.
