I can't recall exactly how many were actually in the bag, but according to the packaging info picture on the Amazon web page, the suggested serving size is 7 pieces and there are approximately 45 servings per bag. So that means around 315 pieces.

Q: One place is says 60ish ounces another place says 35ish oz? Which is it?

I purchased the 40 ounce bags. I use then to make pretzel turtles at Christmas. Every one loves them

Q: How do you package the chocolates so they don't melt in shipping?

They were wrapped in cold packs when I received mine.
