Fun!
Great gift from Santa. We have given it to several friends. The kids like the puzzle part. I like that they have to follow the directions. My 6 year old can almost do it solo. I think you need multiple sets to keep it on going. We just have this one and take it out every so often. The 4 and 2 year old brothers love dropping marbles in.

More fun than I thought!
I bought this item for my 6-year old grandson, who has had a great time building all sorts of shapes to drop marbles in. I've seen his problem-solving skills really ramping up. When a marble comes out of the maze at an unexpected spot, he figures out how to either contain it, or build a place for the marble to go. He is fascinated by it! I think I'll have to get another set so he can build more elaborate structures -- it's that much fun!

Three Stars
One box was not enough to create a "maze"

disappointed
I was looking forward to a marble run type of toy for my Grandson. It is much to hard to put together, and try to make any other design that actually works. Big disappointment.

Poor construction-Impossible to build
Impossible to get more than 3 pieces to fit together without falling apart(this is with an adult helping two children). Item says for 5 and up. Sure looks cool, if it worked. The maze marble run is not defective, it is just poor construction. Peg legs too short to stay in the holes and it just crumples when you try to add a new piece. My boys were so excited to get it. After a lot of frustrated efforts, my seven year old was in tears because it did not work. Needless to say, it is going back and I will find a better quality marble run.

Maybe for older kids
I purchased this set of Q-Ba-Maze cubes to have when our grandkids come to play. I ordered a set of cubes, the set of four trays and the set with the wheel and spinner. Grandkids are 8 yr, 6 yr, and 4 yr. The day they arrived, I was excited. I decided I would build a tower so the kids would know what they are suppose to do with them. It took me a long time to make anything fun out of the sets! I have a huge collection of glass marbles that the kids love, but they are always scattered all over the house and we argue about picking them up all the time. I thought the glass marbles would work with this set, but they DO NOT. Luckily, the sets came with a good amount of marbles that fit. The 8 yr old came first. He is very 'teckie', so he was bored with it quickly. Then the younger two kids came another day. They were all excited and immediately tore apart what I had labored over, tried to make something of their own and got frustrated. Our little guy ended up making a very clever looking rifle out of some of the blocks and a tray. That is the way it has been played with since! Hopefully, they will grow to like it and be able to make something fun out of them. I still believe the sets are very good for creative minds and good for imaginations. Really, our adult kids have played with them more than the little ones.

Cool marble run
Bought for my grandson, 8 yrs. Difficult first try, but once he tried it again he did great. He want to use it every week when he visit. I'm just getting the hang of it. HaHa! Much sturdier than other marble runs he has. I plan on getting him some of the accessories for his birthday.
