AmScope LED-50WY 50W LED Fiber Optic Dual Gooseneck Lights Microscope Illuminator

Product is fine! I will never purchase anything again from AmScope due to my experience with their Sales Executive, Travis. Travis is rude & condescending. I contacted him regarding an invoice that I received. The invoice said "Questions? Call Us: 949-333-0001". That's exactly what I did. Travis answered the phone and from the moment he did he came across as bothered & inconvenienced. He laughed at a couple of my questions, and responded in condescending tone like I was some kind of idiot. What happened was a duplicate invoice from January 2018 was emailed to me in May 2018. The subject said "AmScope: New Order", so that's where the confusion came from and that's why I called. I wanted to make sure that my credit card wasn't charged again. Apparently AmScope had a glitch in their system after an update, and duplicate invoices & order confirmations were sent to customers. According to Travis' demeanor on the phone I should have immediately realized this on my own, and should not have had the audacity to contact AmScope for clarification. When I asked to speak to a supervisor Travis said they were in a meeting. I asked for supervisor's email or phone number. He said that he doesn't give out executive's personal email addresses or numbers. I told him that I wasn't asking for anyone's personal email. I told him that I wanted their business email and/or phone number. He would not give me that information. He hung up on me. I called back, and the phone was answered and immediately hung up again. NEVER AGAIN AmScope!!!!!

The light intensity is good, but the goose neck doesn't stay put; it wanders. So, you have to use rubber bands to hold in place.

We use this in our lab. Excellent brightness range. Our camera and microscope has much better exposure range. The bendable LED cables are very useful.

It gives enough light for all of our experiments.
