Recently my toddler misplaced the remote for my television. After searching for a week, I decided it was time to replace it. I looked at a few universal remotes, but couldn't find one that I liked. I came across this one. It's the same brand as my television and a fair price. Although they didn't list my model number, I decided it was worth trying. I'm happy to say it works on my six year old television set. I've had no issues with it. I will probably be buying a second one just in case my toddler decides to play hide and seek with this one. Good quality, I would recommend.

I bought this Dynex remote for my 93 year old Aunt. The on/off button is opposite the input button and now my Aunt can turn the tv on/off without hitting the input button and messing up the tv! On her old one they were next to each other and she hit both buttons and then the tv did not work. She loves it - her TV now works all the time! I put in batteries and was good to go! I did not have to "setup" the tv! Great item!

This remote is inexpensive and works perfectly. I tried other universal remotes to program with my old 40" Dynex TV and none worked 100%. I could never find one that could control the input selection. With multiple inputs, streaming stick, OTA, DVD, etc, it was a pain to change inputs. This remote has full control of all functions on the tv.

The only thing that I can say is that it is not quite the same as the OEM (buttons wise) however I do believe that this product maybe a bit more durable than the OEM remote. Works well with my TV, when searching make sure that you find your tv's model number on the list of compatible tv's

Seriously, this looks exactly like the remote that came with the TV. Of course it also works the same. The original remote started acting intermittently after 2 years of daily use. For a while, you could smack it and get it working again, but then stopped working altogether. I'm a retired electrical engineer and figured I knew what the problem might be, so I disassembled it. It contained a latent manufacturing defect known as a "cold solder joint". There are only 4 parts on the entire circuit board: a capacitor, a resistor, an IR diode, and a chip (which performs all the digital functions). The capacitor had the cold solder joint on one of its two leads. Because these things are not designed to be disassembled, disassembling it can cause damage to the plastic case. I was going to throw it away regardless.On the bright side, the button panel showed absolutely no wear underneath. So I'm hoping this new remote works for the duration of the TV, however long that may be.

Wow this was so easy toUse and works perfectly. Opened it up. Put some batteries in and it turned my tv on! Such value for the money, I’m so pleased.
