Very pretty
I got this for my orchid and some of the potting mulch (which is what it is) and repotted my orchid and the mulch went everywhere! I know the roots have to get air and stay dry, but this is a messy pot. Make sure you fill it outside and I've put a larger plate under mine for the house so the mulch doesn't go everywhere, the good news is my orchid is growing and looks great, now if I could just get the silly thing to bloom....

Large simple and pretty
This is a very simple design but nicely done at a fair price. This 8 inch version is quite large and will likely be home to two orchids.

Looks great if it not broken
Ordered twice. Both times got broken on small pieces. So sad. Ordered for a third time and finally got a good one. Love the size and looks.

My orchid loves this pot
Allows my orchid's roots to get light like they need. I can spray the pot and get the lower roots wet. Great for my showstopper orchid that always seems to be in bloom. It was so happy it gave me a baby. I didn't even know that could happen. This pot is a really pretty and functional find.

Use Spagnum Moss & Bark Together
The pot is perfect but one should attempt to use spagnum moss around the outside of the pot to "seal up" the large holes then put loose bark on the inside. The moss prevents the bark from falling through while also making the pot quite interesting as well as allowing air to pass through to the root system. We have eight of these pots acquired from Lowe's via Amazon are they are just right.

Attractive Orchard Pot
When I first got this, it seemed way to big for my single orchid, but once I potted it, it looked great. The holes are kind of large, so I lined the pot with pellon (a mesh fabric from the sewing dept). The pellon allowed air flow, and no mess.

Not as shown but works fine for my intended purpose
A friend retired and I inherited his decades-old office plants, including a large orchid overflowing a tiny pot. The pot I received has much larger holes than what's shown in the Amazon image. Mine are 1.5" wide/high by 1" diagonal. Fortunately, the hole size I received works well for retaining Perfect Plants orchid mix. Aside from the false advertising, it's an excellent product for my intended purpose.
