Q: Are these for the Duplo (bigger legos) or the regular legos?

These are for the regular legos (not Duplo).

Q: DId these change? They have always been tough to pull apart but are now ridiculously hard to separate.

I bought the ones with peal and stick backing. When you line them up on a foam board they work great for a wide area. Mines 2 1/2’x4’ set inside a bookshelf with a bucket of legos on the shelf.

Q: Are these base plates stackable?

The brick plates will stack. My son has stacked them just like regular LEGO blocks.

Q: Will these plates snap onto each other? Wondering if they can be used on existing lego table snapping on as opposed to not being able to secure?

Yes, they will, but they are a little on the tougher side at first.
