Q: I have a inclosed car trailer.Want to be able to plug it to 110 and also have a battery back up for lights if im not pluged in to 110?

This will do the trick, just use 12 bolt lighting so that whether you are connected to shore power or no, the lights will work. You can add a few outlets to the high voltage side so you have 110 when you’re connected to power. Also, highly recommend that you use deep cycle batteries, not a simple automotive battery.

Q: My converter has gone out in my 2012 fifth wheel rv. will this converter replace my old one and supply what i need, with out harming anthing in my cam

first you to find how many amps your old one then go from . if the old one is 45 to 60 amps a 55 amp will work fine. just make shure your batteries are in good shap. you also might try and find out why your old went out.

This is not an inverter. It converts 110v to 12v. You could use it to charge batteries, and run 12 v lights off of that, but not sure why you wouldn't just plug into the 110v system! If you want an off-grid grow light solution, then you will need a solar charging system, a large battery bank, and an *inverter* to turn 12v into 110v. There will be math to figure out how much of each.

that charger is not rated at 220v . 110 only so it's going to blow if u you go 220
