We had an electric laminator that no longer is available and I was concerned when all I could find was a manual hand crank laminator. This one is easy to use and works as a good replacement.

these blisters might or might not go away from your artwork. it is mostly visible on a black or heavy color saturated print. good for plain texts with little graphics. that's it

I use this all the time to create teaching resources for my studio. It works well and is generally easy to change out. Four stars because the price fluctuates between $50 and $80, depending on availability, so I have to watch and order when the price is more to my liking, rather than when I actually need it - because then the price will invariably be at the highest!!

I have used this laminate for years as I own a childcare center and we are always making arts and crafts and like to laminate special ones. It last a very long time and is used with the heatless machine which is a plus.

This lamination is thick and clear. I will buy again

I’ve definitely been in a longterm love/hate relationship with these things. They are a godsend in delivering us from the old days of spray adhesives. I wouldn’t be surprised if they saved the lives of some designers who used to breathe the stuff in everyday. Conceptually, they’re phenomenal. But, on the darker side, if I didn’t know better I’d swear they’re designed to waste their very expensive adhesive material as quickly as possible. If you do everything perfectly, expect 35- 40%. Also, their design and construction are on the flimsy side. They’re hard to load and I have yet to see one NOT break before three or so years. Each new model gets cheaper with more and more flimsy plastic parts.

This is my 4th replacement for my Xyron machine. They always work great

It was worth buying this used product instead of paying the full price on a new one. I would by it again.
