Exceptional center channel speaker, especially at the price point
I consider myself pretty knowledgeable when it comes to high fidelity audio and I was absolutely blown away at the quality of this little speaker.Bought this as a center channel for an existing system that had definitive technology in wall left, right, and rear surround speakers.I was initially concerned that it wouldn’t have the same depth of sound but wow was I wrong. It balances out with the surrounding speakers perfectly and the dialogue comes through crystal clear!Definitely don’t underestimate this speaker and if you’re on the fence, just get it. It’s absolutely one of the best at this price point

LOVE THIS.... little 1/2" tweeter is delicate yet expressive for its size!
Amazingly balanced center chanel speaker comfortable supporting a 5.1 system in a small bedroom/office.

Does the Job
First things first, I'm not a crazy audiophile that can supposedly tell the difference among different spectral bands. What I am is a person that needed a center speaker for my old Aiwa receiver and Sony floor speakers combo. My setup is optical audio out from the TV into the receiver, then out to three channels (sides and center). I don't have surround speakers. When properly hooked up and calibrated by the receiver (I had to adjust the sound delay to the center speaker so the picture and audio synced), these speakers sounded pretty good. Speech and sound effects sounded very clear. What you will not get from these speakers is big bass sounds (obvious), nor a "full" sound. Maybe because these speakers are very small (which is a plus since I have it in front of my TV), the sound does not fill the room. With the additional side speakers, I do get a fuller sound. However, the Sonys I have are kinda old and crappy, so there's a disconnect between their sound and the Polk's.For its price and size, this speaker is pretty good, and will enhance your setup, especially for TV and movies. Before you buy, make sure the RMS power (wattage) and impedance (ohms) are appropriate for the receiver. Overall, I'm satisfy with this purchase.

Great clarity with no hollow sound
Bought the Yamaha Center speaker and had to return it. Very hollow and did not have the type of clarity that I wanted. Replaced it with this center speaker and Polk audio came through!. Great purchase for Klipsch system that had a small center speaker.

Small but excellent sound.
Excellent sound from a small speaker enclosure. Perfect for a smaller listening space.

Great Speaker!
Sounds really nice! I don't need the most expensive speakers, I just want a good sound and this is it! The size is nice, not too big at all.

Just what I needed.
Over the years our TV got harder to understand. We though it was our hearing and used closed caption to assist. When our son and daughter both said the sound was messed up from the center speaker, I replaced it with this one. Wow, what a difference. Everything is now crystal clear again. I think the tweeter was bad in the old speaker as there was little or no treble.
