Q: If the shelf life is 30 days or so, can we re-freeze them? Is says not to on the package, so why not?

Once you unfreeze food it shouldn’t be refrozen. That’s with anything food unless it’s uncooked and then you cook it and freeze it. Otherwise no Re freezing.
