Definitely not neoprene.
This is absolutely not neoprene, it is no better than a piece of heavy weight polycotton with elastane. If you want neoprene then this is definitely not going to do the job. It's barely more than 1mm thick so it's not even going to useful for using as fabric for phone or tablet cases. I genuinely don't think I will find a use for this, except possibly as a liner for something needing two layers. To be honest, it was a complete waste of money and I still need to find what I was actually expecting, which is now going to work out very expensive having wasted money on this already. Avoid.

Not neoprene
I bought this material on the understanding that it was neoprene, ie rubber based and there waterproof. This material is not neoprene is very very thin and water simply pours through it. The description, in my view, is wholly misleading!

This is NOT neoprene!!
Although advertised as neoprene this is not. It has no foam core, it's just two layers of fabric stuck together. It is fashion scuba which is a different material to neoprene. It is approx 1.5mm thick and isn't suitable for projects where the structural values of scuba are needed. It does look like nice scuba, has a fair bit of stretch, but won't have the same insulating properties as neoprene. It would be suitable for making facial masks, clothing etc but isn't thick enough to be wetsuit material.
