Q: I'm looking for a foot pedal to use with my computer to transcribe. i think i have transcription in my windows 10 software. which foot pedal is best?

Hi Linda,The FS-2 foot pedal requires a controller like the StealthSwitch3 in order to connect it to a computer. The StealthSwitch3 plugs into your computer via USB and the FS-2 foot pedals plug into the StealthSwitch3 ports. The SS3 has 5 ports so it can be used with up to 5 foot pedals. We have many customers that use the StealthSwitch3 and foot pedals for transcription and it works great! A common configuration for transcription is the StealthSwitch3 with 3 foot pedals - one programmed for fast forward, one programmed for play/pause, and one programmed for rewind. Q: Will this work with a Music Pad pro?

The documentation for the MusicPad Pro says it has a 1/8" foot pedal jack so the FS-2 foot pedal should work (although we have not tested it). If it doesn't work, there is a 30 day return. Best, Elissa H-Mod,Inc.
