These elixirs are 10 carbs and 40 calories per ounce with 8 carbs coming from our local, wildflower honey. 90%+ of our customers are placing this ratio, 1 ounce, into 10-12 ounces of a hot water for a tea/hot lemon; cold water for a ginger, lemonade; a sparkling water for a ginger ale; and/or making their favorite mock tails, cocktails, salads dressing, etc. As a type 1 diabetic, I do use this as a ginger shot, but I also enjoy it in every way mentioned above too. 100% food ingredients without any water, vinegar, additives, powders or preservatives make it the cleanest product/s that I have found in this category. Ginger, lemon juice, and honey! I love this stuff. I primarily use it in my tea and add it to ginger ale to enhance the flavor. Does a wonderful job settling an upset stomach.
