I measured per instructions and was on the upper end of the small size range. Ordered small and it fits perfectly. Looks good and is as cool a sun protecting hat as I am likely to find, as it lets in any breeze.Not cheap, but worth it.

I was looking a hat for the summer. I’m bald and finding a hat that gives me sun protection with ample ventilation was a challenge.I saw the hat and decided to give it a shot.We just got back from our family vacation and the hat was perfect. Great protection, super nice ventilation and looks great on you. I got several compliments about my hat.I wold totally buy it again.

This is a very nice hat. The problem was it came all crushed up. Very poor packaging. I will keep the hat and hope on a really hot humid day the wrinkles will come out. I have a small head, right between a small and a medium. I ordered a small and it is a very tight fit. It did stretch some to get it on my head.

I love this hat. I'm a woman and bought this for summer music festival season and it has been the best ever. I broke this in at the Newport Folk Fest and while my friends were skeptical at first, they were jealous once they were all sunburned by the end of the first day. I was surprised how cool I was in this hat. I figured it's a hat, in full sun, I'm going to be hot and sweaty. My head stayed cool, the rest of me was warm but that was ok. I was specifically looking for a hat with a chin cord and was glad to have it harbor-side. I don't think this hat is waterproof but could probably stand up to a light mist/ sprinkle. I took my head measurement and ordered the small. It fits perfectly and I couldn't be happier. This hat looks stylish and it's practical.

I bought it from DelMonico Hatter. It came in the single boxed, no plastic bubbles or any other damaged protection. The box was not damaged and came in perfect condition. The hat was undamaged as I expected and it was in perfect condition. I took advice from other people who bought it through Amazon and I'm glad I did. DelMonico Hatter shipped it with care. I'm very pleased with the shipping.The hat it self is a very good universal fitting for between sizes. I bought size S-M and my head size is 54cm, 6 3/4 small. It fits loose but the lining(band around the rim) helps. If they had sizable xs that I would bough for me. I hope it will help.

I ordered this hat a few weeks ago and AMAZON shipped me the wrong size (although a sticker on the outside of the hat said it was the right size, the one in the hat was the real size).
