Yes! This is the exact product used in road paint. Now I wouldn’t try the number 10 as its very fine. Try a number 5 or a number 3 bead as they are much bigger. We sell both these styles here on amazon. Good luck!

Probably not, better to use baking soda or walnut shells

Q: Will these beads remove rust off of old metal? I've tried soda & walnuts but they don't touch the rust.

Yes they will but be careful with the air pressure. If your “old” metal is thin or heavily rusted you could blow right through it. Soda and walnut shells are more for wood or plastic surfaces

Q: I need a media a take off Epoxy and paint finish from a bike frame to be repainted. What do you suggest?

The #10 is really fine media it work well for my application but you might want to go with a slightly more aggressive media especially since you mentioned epoxy.Good luck with your project.
