Q: Will the knife float if dropped in water?

Yes. The knife weighs less than 2 ounces and it floats if it is lost overboard. The Hellefisk was designed with the fisherman in mind and features a handle made of cork.

Q: Blade thickness is important. What is it?

The blade is 1/8th inch wide at the back, and stays about that thick until it tapers down to the point, a quarter of an inch from the bottom of the blade. It's a very durable blade- satisfyingly thick, not too heavy, but also not thin or fragile at all. This is my favorite knife, and I own many knives. I love this company and their knives above all others- even Benchmade, and that's saying a lot because Benchmade is amazing. I've used this knife a lot- put it through every kind of hell- and it has still retained nearly all of its edge, and even the laminated mirror-shine on this blade is still completely intact. That sounds hard to believe, but it's true. It's a very high quality and trustworthy knife.

Q: dimensions of this knife?

10 inches overall, 5 1/2 inch blade, blade is a little over an inch wide and about 2 millimeters thick, GREAT knife, only seconded in my collection by the jeff white camp king

Q: Does this come with Sheath

Mine did, simple leather sheath, knife stays in surprisingly well even when running or doing other bouncy physical activity..... definitely recommend the knife, its AMAZING. The handle on mine came rough sanded, so I just put a clear coat on it and it popped beautifully. Helle may have started putting on a finish on them now, but knife is comfortable and very durable, easy to sharpen and comes so... ENJOY!!!!
