AudioQuest0.6M Tower RCA-RCA

Tower interconnects RCA are truly some of the best interconnect cables I have heard. I have them connecting a classic 1969 Sansui SR-2050c turntable with a classic ADC XLM mark 3 cartridge. This connected to a vacuum tube PJL retro edition phono stage going to a B&K reference 30 preamp/processor. So my hifi is a step up above less expensive equipment. I have wireworld Polaris ll cables on some of my amplifiers so I have paid huge sums for quality cables. I have to say the tower series is now one of my all time favorite. I even use them on a very classic Pioneer rt1011 reel to reel. I am blown away on how good that deck made in 1975 sounds. Best value of any cable and best sound compaired to cables costing hundred's more.

I purchased this cable to make a line level connection to a new SVS subwoofer, also purchased from Amazon. Cable is a simple connection for a huge addition to the bottom end sound from my system.

Decided to wire my entire system with these Audioquest Tower analog and Forest digital cables. Before this, I was using the super thick Monoprice RCA and Toslink cables that are also available here on Amazon.When I had the Monoprice cables properly grounded and wired from my turntable to my preamplifier, there was a very apparent hum, or buzz, in the left channel of my stereo system at higher volumes. When I wired it with these Audioquest Tower cables, the hum went away completely... Solving my issue.As far as sound quality, it's hard to say for sure. It does seem that the entire system seems tighter and more dynamic (especially in the mids and lows).The fact that these cables got rid of the buzz issue I was having is enough on its own for me to recommend these cables over the cheaper options. It's also nice to have a thinner, more flexible cable.Give these a shot, the price is right. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Big and audible difference from "free" cables, but in one meter, and not having any EMI issues, they sounded no different than my Belden DIY or Blur Jeans BJ-1 set. Good value, well made so if you are not a geek like me, a safe bet. If you had long runs or were having EMI issues, then a smart choice. Of course, if I was running more than 10 feet, I would be going XLR.

This is the only AudioQuest product line worth the money. AudioQuest loves to rip people off with many of their other product lines but the Tower series are a great value. I love the single cable design that makes cable management much easier. It is somehow still shielded enough internally where I don't any crosstalk between the channels or any interference from other nearby cables. The connectors are well made and stay in place (almost too well) on every piece of equipment I've tried them on. They stay in place so well that due to the shape of the plug it can be hard to get a good enough grip on it to unplug it.I standardized on Tower series cables after tracing a problem I had been having down to a bad RCA cable, and I decided then and there to give up my former practice of just using whatever cables I had on hand since "it doesn't make a difference". It completely can make a difference, but only in build quality and usability, not in the ways that AudioQuest and other "high end" audio accessory companies want you to believe.

I read on some forums that these type of cables do not work to eliminate unwanted hum/noise. I have audio coming out of my TV via a headphone jack and into some powered speakers mounted on the wall. I used this cable with a 3.5 mm to RCA adapter and it has eliminated most of the excess noise so mission accomplished. They are pricey by my standards and I don't buy the hype of expensive cables make a difference but I think there is some science when you have hum from two grounded pieces being connected via RCA cable there is some chance of ground interference which is what these type of cables are supposed to eliminate or so I have read. I'm no audiophile or electrician but it helped my issue.

AQ is my favorite interconnect cables to connect my equipment. I used these to connect to daisy chain 3 separate amplifiers for our outdoor sound system. These are good quality and did not cost as much as my usual go to's (Big Sur).

Clear, balanced sound with good bass. If you read about the quality construction on the audioquest website, these should easily last a lifetime if taken care of.The Audioquest towers sound very good. As good as my reference signal cable.(I dont use something overtly expensive, I used a quality, shielded coaxial cable. To my ears with my own equipment, my coaxial cable sounds as good as these balanced cables and better than a few other coaxial cables I have compared them to).The only con is, for the price, audioquest could have slipped a jacket on them. While affordable, these are not cheap or inexpensive cables.
