Great value. Robust.
I bought these to take camping and to use when walking the dog in the dark. They’ve been a fantastic purchase! The torches are adjustable, so you can focus the light where it’s needed. This is really handy, rather than the light scattering everywhere, you can intensify the beam where you want it.They’re portable, but really sturdy. These have travelled with us on camping trips, abroad, all over the place, and they’re not showing any signs of giving up. They’re as good as new, don’t even look used and abused. They’re comfortable in your hand. They’re not too small, but also far from large. They fit in your pocket. They’re not heavy, but durable and robust. These are honestly the best small torches I’ve ever purchased. They perform well above expectations.Batteries seem to last forever too. I haven’t had to swap them out much, always seems to be a charge.

compact and Effective
These are dinky little , small pocket sized torches to replace a previous pair that lasted several years.Very basic , but robust design, so not much to criticise. For a small torch, the lamp is very bright. However, do not expect this to perform as well as a normal sized torch. It is useful for walking the dog when it gets dark, or in small places, and that is about it. The distance span will never match the bigger torches. But , for what it is designed to do, it is perfect.

Unnecessary extra functions
Decent little torch of seemingly solid construction and a bright beam, the rating of which is 300 lumens according to the instructions included. I didn't realise when ordering that it had 3 functions - strobe, bright and dim - which honestly serve little purpose. I would prefer they simply have the one bright beam. Zoom works well and allows you to focus the beam.

Compact, light and extra bright. Great torch for on the go
These torches are amazingly powerful with a wide and focused beam option that you don’t expect to find in something so small.Fits easily in a pocket or handbag and easy to use.The torches themselves have a robust feel and don’t weigh too much.

Excellent, practical small torch
Living in a rural area that used to suffer from frequent short power cuts, I have had quite a few different types of torches over the years. These particular torches are excellent. They are straight forward, easy to use and carry. They have all the features you actually need in a torch. They use a single AA battery, I use a rechargeable one which the torch accepts without any problem. Some torches don’t because a rechargeable battery puts out a very slightly lower voltage than the alkaline types. The battery life using either type is excellent! Many torches cannot be stood on their end, because of the design of the end cap, but this one can. This is important because in a power cut, you can stand the torch on a table, or on the mantle piece, shine it on the ceiling and it will illuminate the room! The torch has its on/off switch in the end cap which makes it very easy to use - much better than a button on the side which can often be a pain to find in the dark. (Which is when you need a torch!) It also doesn’t roll if you lay it down on a surface that isn’t level. As far as brightness goes, it is powerful for its size and plenty good enough for use in the house as well as a dog walk. It is small and light, easy to carry in a pocket, or a small bag, pouch or whatever - or for keeping in the car’s glovebox. It is very well made and very tough. There is a clip on the side for attaching to your clothing or whatever that is unobtrusive, effective, and there if you need it. The “modes” are high and low power, a flashing setting, and it has a zoom feature.I have a couple of very powerful torches - but in all honesty, these small torches, in practice, do what you really need out of a torch.Lastly, it is very cheap to buy! A bargain!

Small moderatley bright torch with sharp bits.
These have good and not so good points. A compact torch that takes an AA battery and doesn't have a dazzling brightness level makes a really useful EDC. Lower output means the battery life tends to be longer (and AA has much longer life than AAA) and the torch can be much more discreet to use, with less risk of momentarily blinding anyone as you turn it on. The end clicky button is my favourite format (rather than a twist switch) and this one works at two depths of click: full for on-off and half press for mode switching. The light is a warm white rather than cool white, so again gentle on the eyes. The beam can be focused by pulling out (straight pull, not twist) the end barrel of the torch. This feels a bit cheap, but does work, and is fully metal. The negatives for me were really geometric. The removable clip is quite sharp edged and angular, so likely to snag if kept fully in a trouser pocket. But it is removable which offers a solution. The fatal flaw for me though is the sharpness of the bezel projections. While too small to really be a 'tactical torch', the sharp projections would make short work of a trouser pocket lining and potentially any soft pocket contents as well. As I bought it for pocket EDC carry, I returned it as unsuitable for pocket carry. For toolbox or glove compartment though it ticks all the boxes.
