Q: Something seems off with the listing specs of a 9/16" hole required . I doubt that would fit into any headstock I have ever seen. ??

9/16" is standard for that style tuner. It's a shade over 14mm.

Q: will these fit an Ibanez acoustic bass?

Depends on the model of acoustic bass. You'd have to measure the existing tuners or the holes in the headstock. When I installed these in my old Yamaha bass, I had to use a rat tail file to open up the holes in the headstock slightly.

Q: My 2x2 chrome bass tuners came without the washers, so they are useless. Is there a way to get the washers?

Sounds like a packaging error. I'd contact the seller for a replacement. Or, you can probably find washers that will fit at Lowes, home depot or ace hardware, but they won't have the same nice polished finish, but you can polish them up by hand.

Q: How thick of a headstock will this fit on?
