**Q: Is this soil scoop exactly as pictured in this listing?  Or is the scoop as pictured in the background document (i.e., a newer scoop design)?**
A: I ordered a soil scoop in January of this year (to replace one i had for years and LOVED but lost -- probably ended up in yardwaste recycling).  It looks like the picture in the listing NOT the scoop on the background piece.  So a wood handle and metal scoop.  It really is my favorite gardening tool.

I absolutely love this tool. The ergonomics are good, unlike cheap versions, and the point is nice and thin, and sharp.I’ve made the mistake of buying cheap trowels in the past, and as with most tools, you get what you pay for. In the case of this item, I feel like I actually got more than I paid for since I bought when it was on sale. Highly recommend!
