I read a lot of reviews and looked up a lot of listings before I settled on these. They are perfect for baby and toddler size hands. Not too big, not too small. They are also great for the babies that like to put everything in their mouth. Big enough to not cause a safety hazard and small enough to be enjoyable. The sound they make is great! Not too high pitched, not too low. The seal on the eggs looks durable and long lasting. I've washed them with soap, that baby has thrown them all over the floor, and they even fell out of the car onto cement and are still intact and fine (no dents!). We even gave them out as party favors to the little kids at my baby's 1st birthday party. I keep these everywhere in the house, and even in the car. These egg shakers are a huge hit, and sometimes the only way to keep her quiet in the car or through a diaper change!
