The Hozelock Ecopower 10000 Filter when sized, installed and maintained in accordance with Hozelock's instructions will guarantee clear-water in ponds up to 10000 litres. The Ecopower 10000 will cater for 435cm of fish, and has a recommended maximum flow rate of 5000lph. The Ecopower range of filters have the added advantage that they can be partially buried in the ground thanks to the high filter outlet. Hozelock cover the Ecopower 10000 Pond Filter with a 2 year guarantee for peace of mind. How It Works: Water enters the filter via 25, 32 or 40mm flexi hose. From here it passes into the UV chamber. The UV chamber features a "turbulator" to increase efficiency. The 16w UVC clumps the algae that causes green water together. The water then passes through a venturi for additional aeration. Water then flows through the bio-media, and rises up through the foams. Waste in the bottom chamber can be drained away via the sludge drain. The water exits back to the pond via 40mm flexible pipework. ## Features - Easy to clean and maintain. This filter is suitable for ponds up to 20000 litres (fish ponds 10000 litres) and has an integrated UVC cleaner with 16 watt UV lamp and helps to combat the algae more strongly. - The fine foam mat provides excellent first cleaning of contaminated water, but in addition, the Ecopower plus range is equipped with the unique Kaldnes K3 filter material. - This creates a surface with very large bacteria adhesion for Kaldnes and a continuous renewal of bacteria. This results in excellent cleaning effect and not only in a bright, but also a very healthy pond. - Package weight: 4.86 kilograms ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00UJO79Y2 | | Best Sellers Rank | 93,335 in Garden ( See Top 100 in Garden ) 307 in Pond Filtration Equipment | | Brand | Hozelock | | Capacity | 20000 litres | | Container Type | Tin | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (214) | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 2 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05010646056557, 05010646967594 | | Included Components | Mechanical filter foams, Biological media | | Installation Type | Partially Buried | | Item Dimensions L x W x H | 40.5L x 29.1W x 50.8H centimetres | | Item Weight | 4.7 kg | | Manufacturer | Hozelock | | Manufacturer Part Number | 1866 1240 | | Material Type | Kunststoff | | Maximum Flow Rate | 5000 Litres Per Hour | | Model Name | Water Filter | | Model Number | 1866 1240 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Other Special Features of the Product | Combines UV light with mechanical and biological filtration | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Purification Method | Ultraviolet | | Supported Water TDS Level Maximum (PPM) | 2000 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Hozelock - **Capacity:** 20000 litres - **Included components:** Mechanical filter foams, Biological media - **Installation type:** Partially Buried - **Material:** Kunststoff - **Package information:** Tin - **Power source:** Corded Electric - **Product dimensions:** 40.5L x 29.1W x 50.8H centimetres - **Purification method:** Ultraviolet - **Special feature:** Combines UV light with mechanical and biological filtration ## Images ![Ecopower + 20,000L UVC - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81sdt1jPmxL.jpg) ![Ecopower + 20,000L UVC - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41eHlh77SHL.jpg) ![Ecopower + 20,000L UVC - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41XYHEqFWoL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size Name** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.de/products/96202953-ecopower-20-000l-uvc](https://www.desertcart.de/products/96202953-ecopower-20-000l-uvc) --- *Product available on Desertcart Germany* *Store origin: DE* *Last updated: 2026-11-05*
