Review: Love this brand and excited to try this new cover - Love it so far easy to clean/wash, and comes with good cleaning recommendations, very soft and comfortable and fits perfectly on my 10inch queen sized futon! I will update if I have any spills to see if it holds up and actually protects my mattress underneath. I am a woman as well, and I sometimes drink tea or other juices by my bedside so I’m prone to spills and ofc that time of the month doesn’t always show mercy to one’s bed sheets so I’m alway precautious and it’s one of the reasons why I bought this cover. I have used the same brand before but it was not the cotton version but rather the polyester one. Not to mention it was a few years ago so I’m not sure if quality has gone down with this brand but it has been a trusted brand to me for the past few years since the previous two bed protectors held up really well. I’m very hopeful with this new one I’m trying out in a different material. Highly recommend otherwise! Update after a few months: I like it a lot! It’s held up after a few washes no complaints there and no deterioration and the stains come out very well with bleach free stain removers!! Still fits nicely even after the dryer and not much dust or fluff comes off which is nice. It’s survived more food, drinks, and woman hood. 10/10 would recommend still
Review: Excellent Mattress Protector – Perfect for Our Catamaran - We purchased the SafeRest Waterproof King Size Mattress Protector to use on our Leopard 40 Catamaran, and it has worked out perfectly. Our bed is an unusual size since it is larger than a queen but smaller than a king and this protector fits it very well. It’s also very easy to put on. You install it just like a fitted sheet, so it goes on quickly and stays securely in place around the mattress. One of the things we really appreciate is how comfortable it is. Unlike some waterproof protectors, it doesn’t make any crunchy or plastic-like noise when you move around. It’s soft and quiet, so it feels just like sleeping on a normal mattress cover. The waterproof feature works exactly as advertised. I accidentally spilled water on the bed, and the mattress underneath stayed completely dry. That alone gives us a lot of peace of mind, especially on a boat where protecting bedding is important. Overall, this is a high-quality mattress protector that is comfortable, quiet, easy to install, and truly waterproof. We’re very happy with it and would absolutely recommend it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do I care for my SafeRest protection products?**
A: A little care keeps them lasting for years. Wash before first use, then machine wash cold to hot with regular detergent. Skip bleach, dry cleaning, ironing, and high heat—they can damage the waterproof lining. Tumble dry low with sheets or towels.

**Q: What's the difference between a mattress protector and a mattress encasement?**
A: Protectors are more affordable and easier to wash, but they don’t fully seal against bed bugs. Encasements zip around the entire mattress for complete protection. Both cost far less than replacing a mattress.

**Q: What mattress depth does the protector fit?**
A: It depends on the size. Twin, Twin XL, and Full fit mattresses up to 14 inches deep, while Queen, King, and Cal King fit up to 18 inches.

**Q: Why are there brown burn marks on my protector after drying?**
A: Those marks almost always mean the protector was dried on high heat or got caught against the dryer's heating element, which unfortunately ruins it. Always tumble dry on low.

**Q: Which side of the protector faces up?**
A: The soft cotton terry side goes up, and the woven waterproof liner sits face-down against your mattress.

A Well made Queen Size that fit perfectly, and has served to protect our mattress on numerous occasions. It is a great value for the money. I liked the first one I purchased at Amazon so much that I ordered a second one. It is a 5 Star product in my opinion, and has performed as advertised.
