She Has been on a script for Synthroid but now it doesn't seem to be working at all. She has metabolic syndrome and so I'm sure her conversion rate is not the best. Last week she started taking ashwagandha and this supplement twice a day, AshwAganda was 500 mg.She has improved from a serious depression and lethargy to where she was when the Synthroid seemed to work. We added the extra ashwagandha because of her anxiety which causes extreme volatility in her blood pressure. All these things and more Contribute to low thyroid function In the production of thyroid hormones and the conversion By the liver, kidneys and other organs Of T4 To T3.She has a doctor's appointment coming up in a month and we're going to try and convince him to give her more than just the TSH test and actually measure the conversion of T3.
