The documentation states 4.1. I have a phone that has 4.0 and I hope it is just a mistake and the actual device is 4.0 as that is what I need and why I bought this one. It is charging now and I will have to wait and see if my phone recognizes it.Updated. I have tried the headset and it does pair with my cell phone. Still not sure why the instructions say that it is Bluetooth 4.1.
