I installed them on Dec 15 and they have been burning constantly ever since. They will stay on until after New Years. Everyone who sees them is amazed and curious as to where I got them. These are the only ones I have seen in our town this year but I'll bet there are lots of them here next year!Update: I turned all 4 off on Jan 5. When I attempted to turn them on again, one of them would not burn. I switched them around with the same result. I am returning 2 of them for a replacement and hoping the other 2 will work again next time.Update 2: A 40,000 hr life is a joke for these bulbs! They won't even make 4000 hrs! Since Jan 5 I have used one of these bulbs in a dusk to dawn lamp. So far 3 of them have burned out. I have 3 more left from my original purchase. I expect all of them to be burned out by July. I may buy other flame effect LEDs for Christmas decoration next year but they will certainly not be the Goldspark brand! I needed some flame-looking bulbs for my carriage lights outdoors to help with my "wintery" decor for Christmas. I've had these things running 27/4 for nearly a month now and they work and look great. And I'm in northern ND so it gets cold, windy, snowy, icy and everything in between up here.
