**Q: Will these turn on the same time every night once the timer is set? All of my timered candles do this.**
A: No, you set the timer, and once it’s finished it turns off. Very simple lights

**Q: No one answered definitively if the remote was ir (short range line of sight) or rf (longer range with obstructions) ?**
A: It’s fairly short distance but perfect for under kitchen cabinets lights. If you want to turn them on from another room you are out of luck, but walk into the kitchen, pick up the remote and aim at the lights - poof - they are on!!

**Q: Is the remote rf or ir?**
A: IR means it's infrared light controlled. Line of site only.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Lighting Option w/out Electricity

I really like these lights. They offer quite a few features that include remote control, wide range light brightness settings, timer & "push button" option to turn on and off and brightness. They have a gold band around them which I like because it matches my living room decor'. I used these on a built-in bookshelf to spotlight the items on the shelves. These lights have a very white, cool color which was not what I was looking for. I used some colored photo gels in an amber color that I cut to size and inserted them in the puck light. Worked perfect. My one complaint is the battery life. As others have mentioned they suck the life out batteries. I have 12 @ 3 batteries each that's 36 batteries at a shot. I don't leave these lights running all the time (who could afford to!) but if I'm having guest over I typically like to put them on then. I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 due to the battery usage. I would however buy them again and actually plan on purchase more to finish the bookshelf some time soon.
