The biggest issue is that the required adaptors are not tooled correctly to fit the pre-drilled holes in the head/foot boards of the Berkeley model crib. The top holes are about 1/8”-1/4” too low to match up. I ended up having to drill out the top holes on all 4 adapters.After altering the adapter brackets, the remainder of the installation went as expected. We opted to buy additional slats rather than buying a box spring so that it would be easier for our toddler to get in and out of the bed and to reduce weight on the bed frame. Even with the additional slats, the bed seems a bit wobbly. I’m going to give it a few days to see how things look before screwing the slats down as we may have to shore up the head/foot for added safety.We purchased a hybrid “bed in a box” mattress that has a height/depth of 13” and once that was placed on the slats it did seem to reduce the wobble significantly and the mattress we selected fits the bed perfectly in length and width.If you don’t have access to typical household tools like a cordless drill, this project may be out of your scope. Other crib models may have better luck with fit, but I can confirm the other reviews as pertains to the Sorelle Berkeley model...the adapters are far from a perfect fit and will require adaptation, patience and a bit of elbow grease. If we didn’t need to upgrade this bed immediately, we would have returned this conversion kit and waited for the manufacturer to get it back into stock. ### ⭐⭐ Weak construction, poor design *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2021* I am reviewing for a crib that required the included bracket set, if your crib does not need that it may function better. The bracket set has bolts with the wrong thread, the crib has a coarse 1/4 inch 20 thread so of course I had to go to the hardware store, drop $5 and find the correct bolts. Next, assembly, they designed the bracket and rails so that they cannot be in alignment with the head and foot board. Also the designed the bracket so that if you follow their instructions the bed is 1" from the floor. I inverted the bracket to raise the bed about 6". The slats basically secure the width of the bed. To make this work the rails have to be about 1" offset outside the headboard. Once assembled I rocked the bed and it was very unstable. I had to add screws and washers at each corner.Given the weak construction of the bracket the wrong thread size of the bolts it may make more sense to do this from scratch rather than spend $200 on a poorly designed frame. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product / Excellent Customer Service *by L***Y on Reviewed in the United States on November 4, 2021* The kit does not come with very detailed instructions on how to put the bed together. Initially, I thought that I was sent the wrong pieces. I reached out to the distributer and concluded that the piece that I needed was attached to a part of the bed used in phase 1 (crib). After the piece was located in a storage closet, everything went together well.
