There are many less expensive options available, but this one has proven to be ideal for use in our household. The mirror is mostly used for putting in contact lenses. The simple design hold its position very well and sits solidly on the counter. The fluorescent light provides even illumination. The only negative is that the pushbutton switch is not sealed and can be damaged after repeated pressing by wet fingers. (dry hands before use). I replaced it when needed, its a standard switch. (Minus one star for this.)What really impressed me was the support provided by Zadro when I accidentally broke a mirror. A new mirror was easily purchased from the manufacturer and they gave easy instructions to replace it.
