The new bed arrived in just a couple of days and was very well packed arriving without any damage.The bed is very easy to construct you only need screwdriver, everything else is provided. I highly recommend a power screwdriver though, there are quite a few screws to put in (two for each slat that supports the mattress), which although a little tedious is extremely easy.The construction of the bed itself is very simple, I didnt even need to look at the instructions (although I dont recommend that approach!) just be mindful of which way up the two long side pieces go, they only fit one way.The bed has five main components, (head, foot and two sides and a wooden beam that runs down the middle). Additionally there are 4 small support blocks for supporting the middle beam and then the slats that support the mattress.The quality of the finished item is good, it's strong and doesn't wobble or flex and it looks nice. My only negative comment is that both the head and foot board have small plastic caps on the top sections that cover a few stainless steel screws. It would have been nicer to embed them in the wood and then fill the hole or to use glue instead, but it;s a minor point.I expect this bed to last a very long time and recommend it as a mid priced bed. It's certainly not the cheapest pine bed out there, but I feel the quality of it justifies the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb *by M***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 June 2020* Lovely solid sturdy wooden bed, easy to assemble. Bought this to replace a terrible bed frame that felt like we were on a boat every time we moved. There is no movement in this frame and the extra slats and central legs keep it firmly in place. The wood is good quality, we chose the Oak stain and it’s lovely. Well finished. Quick delivery within 3 days, we’ll packaged in several boxes, so ok to get indoor and upstairs. Comes with screws and Alum (sorry if the spellings wrong! ) key, but you will need an electric screwdriver for all those slats!
