We don't recommend nailing, but they can be mounted. We sell wall mounts on KittyKasas.com, and you can also use regular "L" brackets and a board. Basically, build a shelf, drill holes in the board cor the Kasa feet, and you've got a nice elevated condo! **Q: Is this only for a kitten, or can a senior cat fit inside this comfortably?** A: My cats would not go inside the box and the top is a little small. My cats weigh 12 and 14 pounds. **Q: What are the dimensions? Is it more for a kitten?** A: Certainly, kittens love the Kitty Kasas because a bunch of them can cuddle in there together. Adult cats also fit inside, though only 2 mid-sized would really be comfortable. A large (20 pounder, or more) would fit alone. I don't have the exact dimensions because the one I bought is in use in a shelter where we are trying to adopt out cats/kittens. They all love it, though.
