(This is NOT a kit - you will need your own pot and soil). I transplanted the bulb immediately and put it under a grow-light to try to force the stalks upright. Only one responded. When I went in further to see why I say that the second stalk was severed from the bulb. It wasn't going to grow at all. It's a shame Because the one stalk that is intact has at least 5 blooms on it. It's gorgeous, the colors so vivid. It would have been great with 10 flowers on the whole plant. Review: no blooms on very overpriced bulbs - I ordered 5 these bulbs at +- 29.00 each. Not ONE of them bloomed. they were rotten (3 of them) when they arrived and hoping they might survive I treated them with great care and according to directions. Later that week I bought 5 bulbs at Trader Joes for 7.99 each. They all bloomed beautifully. What a rip-off. Sometimes they just don't bloom, so it's wise to buy two or three for every one that will potentially take off and bloom "correctly". I also purchased a waxed amaryllis bulb from another merchant, and that one is a dud so far; I don't think it's going to take off.
