The shoulder is rather complex and dynamic. Unless you have something custom made for your shoulder, nothing will fit it perfectly. When choosing one, make sure your measurements are in the ranges specified by the brace you purchase. Now my comments specific to this brace, including pros and cons and tips....Pros:+ The material is soft.+ It applies good compression to the upper arm. If you are using this for either a tendon or nerve issue then this is important. The tendons and nerves of the shoulder go through the upper arm.+ It is relatively easy to put on yourself if you follow this tip. Close the velcro for the arm portion before putting the brace on and adjust it so that it is snug enough to apply your desired level of arm compression. See the first photo I posted. Then put your arm through pulling it up your arm before adjusting the strap that goes around your back. You may need to experiment a bit to get it right. This is a one time adjustment if you don't undo the velcro on arm when you take brace off. Once on arm you can reach around with other arm to pull strap around your back to attach in front.+ There are no plastic parts that touch your body. The plastic connectors for the strap are on top of the soft brace material.+ Sufficient mobility for everyday activities including driving. However, I don't think you could do intense workouts in this (which I have no intention of doing). Ignore the photo on the product page that shows someone rock climbing. That is not going to happen.Cons (with a tip for overcoming):- There are two velcro adjustments on the shoulder portion that are not documented in instructions and are not obvious on how to use. See second photo I posted for the velcro up toward the shoulder on the flap that has the brand name. The first time you put brace on you'll probably find that the brace bunches up on shoulder rather than laying flat. You can partially correct this with those two velcros. This is not explained in instructions. Based on my experimentation, move them away from your shoulder to get it to lay flatter and better on the shoulder. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exercise with very minimal pain.Awesome product *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2019* This race is absolutely amazing! I was diagnosed approximately 14 years ago from vigorous exercise in all my life at the age of 61 I was diagnosed with no Cartlidge and bone spurs at the age of 47. I did not want to have my shoulder replaced as it would’ve stop me from doing what I love doing. I have unfortunately been working through the pain. I saw this product and thought I’d give it a shot. OMG, so glad I did ! I liked it so much I ordered my uncle one that has a similar problem like I do. Then I turned around and ordered a third one that way I can keep one clean at all times. I don’t see any adjustments that need to be made as it is perfect for me and should be perfect for anyone of any size as it is an adjustable Velcro strap absolutely love it!
