When you remove the original you will find markings such as wras approved which this lacks. Is wras approval required for drinking water components , not sure, but this does not have it, nor states it should.Quality is good but the one issue I have is that whilst the spindle is free when not installed, it is quite tight when installed to the required torque. My conclusion is therefore that the unit is marginally longer than the original and when installed the unit is compressed such that the spindle gets harder to spin. This review hopes that the unit will wear in and the spindle tightness ease.
