## Features

- PRODUCT FEATURES calimaero RKKI works well in square meter 95mm. Use sealing tape or sealing band for a tight fit on hoses and vents. This well-made backdraught plastic is weatherproof and UV resistant. It prevents the exhaust air from flowing back and cold air from flowing in. The flaps automatically open when the fan blows out the exhaust air and closes when the air flow stops.
- INSTALLATION The backdraft shutter is pushed completely into the exhaust pipe. Easy to install and perfect for retrofitting bathroom fans and ventilation systems without a back draft shutter. The flaps must be aligned horizontally in order to close optimally.
- VERSATILE USE No need to buy multiple products to find the one that works. Applicable in all supply and exhaust air systems, such as air conditioning systems, tumble dryers, extractor fan, cooker hood and other HVAC applications.
- PERFORMANCE Ideal choice for improving any ducting system without a backdraft shutter. The smooth-running flaps can also be opened by small fans. It does the job and works great for your home improvement.
- CUSTOMER SERVICE We are experts in ventilation for more than 40 years. If you have any questions or complaints, please contact our customer service directly. Your request will be processed immediately.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well to prevent backdraughts, but clatters in windy conditions
*by J***6 on 7 April 2022*

I fitted this backdraft shutter to my kitchen extractor to prevent cold air from blowing back into the kitchen from outside. Unlike some other reviewers, I found mine fitted snugly into the fan exhaust adaptor (it must be a different size of fitting?) & I also applied some PVC tape around the join. This arrangement works very well, and you can hear the faint but reassuring sound of the shutter closing after turning off the extractor. However, it does clatter on windy days, and I've taken a star off for this! I'm not sure what the solution is- I've tried different types of shutter, both at the fan exhaust end and at the outlet end, but all of these options still clatter when it's windy! I also tried putting some thin strips of self-adhesive rubber foam along the mating surfaces of the valve, and this does deaden the sound to some extent, but it's still there...
