**Q: Are the wings made from balsa sheets?  Or of rib construction?**
A: Rib construction.  However, is you can find balsa sheeting thin enough I'm sure you could use sheeting.

**Q: how far does it fly?**
A: 50 to 100 feet.

**Q: Is there a gas motor that would work**
A: Yes a Cox . 02 will fit. Parts to install gas engines are no longer included in kits but can be ordered from Guillows. There is a notice included in each kit identifying the parts no longer in the kits

**Q: Product info. states 2.2 pounds ?**
A: That isn't correct.  The finished plane may weigh 2.2 oz.
