They have helped a lot to keep my skin in that area dry, moisture was causing the rashes. The material is soft, which is very important when it is on top of my skin all the time. Mostly I use these by themselves to keep my skin dry when I am just home and not going out. They do stay in place most of the time, occasionally they slip down when I am moving around a lot. I know this is different from what they were made for, but this way works well for me. I wish there was something on them, maybe like a velcro to totally attach them around me so they didn't slip, or some adjustable way of using them but they do work well for the way I am using them. I have ordered 6 more so I have plenty. They also wash very well.
