A: This is the #135B (with steel ball end E string ) set. $55.99 map price.

**Q: Are all the strings ball end?**
A: My set of 4, 135B Medium Synthetic Core, came with a loop end E, and a separate ball in an envelope. I had to insert the ball into the loop on the E, then twist it with a pair of pliers to convert it to a ball-end E-string. Not difficult.

**Q: Is it normal for them to sound metallicy at first?**
A: Some find this to be true. However, some poor adjustments or setup problems will make this new string sound more apparent.
