## Description

Built into the Ear (3) charging case is a breakthrough dual-microphone system driven by ambient filtering mics. We call it Super Mic. It focuses on your voice and cuts through all other noise up to 95 dB for complete clarity on calls and voicenotes
Switch to the Super Mic by pressing the 'TALK' button while keeping the charging case close and pointed towards your mouth, we recommend a 5cm distance for optimal performance in loud environments. Hold for quick calls or voice memos, or double tap and release for longer conversations.
Inside the case are two MEMS microphones with beamforming technology. They lock onto your voice and tune out unwanted noise, wherever you are
Ear (3) was built with an upgraded 12mm dynamic driver to create precise and expansive listens. Treble is sharper. Bass is deeper. Vocals more resonant. Lock in to a richer, deeply immersive soundscape.
Ear (3) recalibrates its Adaptive Noise Cancellation in real time up to 45 DB, checking your surroundings every 600 milliseconds and monitoring sound leakage to ensure your audio stays clear and focused anywhere. Transparency Mode is built in to let you hear what’s happening around you.
Music and films become immersive with Static Spatial Audio, which creates a 3D soundscape that puts you at the heart of your sounds.
For more weight in your tracks, Dynamic Bass Enhancement locks on to low frequencies and boosts them in real time, adding depth and power to make big beats bigger, while avoiding distortion.
With an upgraded 55 mAh battery in each bud, you’ll enjoy up to 5.5 hours of listening with Adaptive Noise Cancellation on. The case extends that to 22 hours with no plug required thanks to built-in wireless charging. And when you’re short on time, a quick 10-minute USB-C charge delivers up to 10 hours of playback, so you’re always ready to go.
Low latency, LDAC compatible wireless audio keeps you immersed in high-resolution sound, in touch on calls and in sync when gaming. Instant pairing with Android, Windows and iOS comes as standard too.
With a quick hearing analysis in the Nothing X app, Ear (3) will create a Personal Sound profile precisely tailored to how you hear, so everything is beat perfect for you.
The Nothing X app gives you immense control over exactly how your music sounds. Use the advanced 8-band equaliser to build a bespoke sound profile from scratch or just give your tracks more bounce, and everything in-between.
A polished metal antenna together with our signature transparent design delivers sleek, offbeat looks, and stronger signal. When you’re not using them, the buds sit sturdy in a formed alumunium case.
The ergonomic stems sit effortlessly in your ear, a venting system reduces pressure, and pillowy silicone tips keep Ear (3) snug, but never tight⁷. Listen all day and feel only your music.
Lock down ideas, thoughts and to-dos the second you think of them. Record a voice note with Super Mic and Essential Space will automatically transcribe it, so moments of inspiration never fade away.
Stay in the know with daily updates delivered by Essential News¹³ in the Nothing X app.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are excellent
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 August 2026*

These are excellent, I bought them to replace a pair of Sony WF1000-XM5 and the performance is at worst on par. The noise cancellation effect is very effective, they fit more comfortably than the Sonys being slightly lighter. I love the appearance of the case and buds, they look totally different to most so not easy to get confused, and they were less than half the purchase price of the Sony pair. They paired with my phone in seconds and were ready to go straight away too. It's worth using the nothing gear app to fine tune the buds to your hearing and really getting those settings dialed in.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In ear headphones Nothing
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 September 2026*

Excellent sound easy to set up with the Qr code connects easily noise cancellation is as good as my Bose ultra headphones these are a a bargain solidly built can’t fault any thing would recommend these headphones to anyone sound quality is awesome

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very few complaints.
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 August 2026*

Good sound quality, with the Nothing app giving great adjustability for your own sound profiles. The 'Super Mic' in the case is surprisingly useful, and feels good to use.Easy to connect to phone and laptop, and fairly easy to switch between them (though having to put the earbuds back into the case before switching device can be annoying).Hold in the ear quite well, and are very comfortable. They lose a star because of the poor finish on the case around the indent on the clear plastic, and the large amount of play in the case hinge.
