Review: Works as advertised; “Gloppy”; Tips for Using - I bought this because I had several cords, ranging from ipad charging cables to the cord for my electric razor to the cord on the vacuum cleaner, whose insulation had become brittle and was cracked and/or missing. While not visually restoring the insulation to a “like new” condition, it does do a great job repairing the insulation and, in my opinion, looks and works better than electrical tape, especially if additional build up would interfere with using something like a cord clip/hook on an appliance. While it dries or sets fairly quickly (you can safely apply additional coats, if needed, after ~5-10 minutes, the product is somewhat “gloppy” and it will run or drip before it dries sufficiently that it won’t. When completely dry, it does seem to be fairly flexible. Based on my experience, I would suggest the following: - Suspend the cord/cable horizontally and then watch for and remove any drips until it sets. If the repair is being made near the plug/connector, hanging the cord vertically could cause the product to pool excessively at the plug. - Put plastic or paper below the cord to protect the floor or work surface from any drips from the brush or the cord. - If using the brush attached to the lid, clean the product off the stem first so that you don’t have more product than you want running down the stem and onto the brush. - Be sure to clean any material off the threads of the can and the can lid before closing the can. - Instead of using the brush attached to the lid, consider using a separate brush, like a small acid brush, and wiping any excess on that brush off on an old soup can instead of the threaded edge of the product’s can. Overall, this product worked great for my applications and exceeded my expectations.
Review: Works great! - On one occasion my dog was injured, and in the rush to break camp forgot to unplug the electrical cord from the box at the campground. It pulled the outter rubber covering away from the plug by about a half inch. I bought this to try to bridge the gap to the plug. This stuff is amazing. It is truely liquid electrical tape! You apply it with small brush and it sets up quickly allowing you to apply another coat. It sets up hard like electrical tape with great adherence. I love this stuff!

**Q: Can it be checked in airplane?**
A: I don't know about the substance itself.  Check TSA.  As for carry on it is 4 ounces not 3 and under

**Q: Can it be removed?**
A: Not really. It is like silicone caulking. Once it dries up, very difficult to remove completely. Meant to be permanent seal to prevent moisture corroding wire connectors.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very useful product in electrical projects

I have added many electrical accessories to my motorcycles, and helped many friends to do so as well. I find this product very useful in weather sealing and bonding small, and often hard to reach wire joins, and end clip connections in places subject to vibration, shock, and weather. Once cured, it is permanently in place, forms a strong join, and is completely weather proof. It cannot come undone as normal electrical tape often does. It works well in places where shrink tube or soldering is not applicable. It is bit tricky to use as one must be careful of it running or dribbling when installing it. And, It is best with two coats. So, I try to do two light coats. I have learned to put something behind the area I am working on if possible to stop any drips. I have never had any of these joins defeated, even on off road bikes that take a tremendous beating. it comes in colors and stays bright, so such joins can ve found easily in aid of checking to make sure they intact. It does take some time to cure, so a little extra time must be planned for. I really like this stuff.
