I only returned the product because one of my dearest Uncles died of a Stroke and the Neurologist stated with strong conviction, that based on his decades of research and the data he was presented with, the Stroke came about as a result of ingesting Sodium Nitrites .. now whether it was that one occurrence tha caused the Stroke or , or if it was the result of perhaps, many times eating the stufff over a prolonged period of time, the Doctor couldn't be that pinpoint specific .. but ever since that day, to my recollection, have I purchased any products containing Sodium Nitrites, NItrates and/or BHT .. So any new customers of Cattleman's Cut Beef Jerky, may feel that this review does not apply to them and it may not apply to them .. it's just my experience and I do not wish to bash or complain about the quality of this product ..
