After a few weeks of research, we've decided to go for the Waldin bedside cot, because it's made from wood, not like the other fabric options, because it's compact, but big enough to accommodate a baby until he is around 1yo.We've received it quickly and it was quite easy to assemble, even though the instructions are rather basic, not Ikea like at all. But the big surprise was when we brought our son home and realised he does not like to sleep in it at all. After a few weeks of failed attempts, when he woke up in maximum 5 minutes and starting crying (for him to fell asleep in his cot it was impossible, it was like we put him on pins... ), I've tested myself and put my head on the mattress and it's really hard and uncomfortable... so we've decided to order a custom made mattress made from pocket springs. Only after we've changed the mattress our son started to sleep in his cot without any problem...Another thing that it's disappointing it's the customer service. One customer said that the matress seems a bit hard for his baby and asked if Waldin has other mattresses that are softer and thicker... the seller reply was: "the mattress is 4cm, this is sufficient for babys. babys shall not sleep on too soft mattresses". I found that a very rude reply and not at all customer oriented. They really should reconsider their approach as well as the quality of the mattresses.Bottom line, I do recommend this co-sleeping bedside cot, but definitely advise all buyers to purchase another mattress for it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great value *by D***F on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 November 2019* Quality made cot, very fast delivery, very happy with product, when assembling we found one of the securing screws was missing from the pack but when contacting the seller we received another one within 48hrs, very happy overall and would very much reccomend this item to anyone.
