These new ones were also 7mm wires. I pulled off a couple a metered the resistance. The ones I had installed (unsure of brand) were giving me something like 5.8 k ohms. The same length wire in this set metered at 3.4 k ohms. So that seemed like a good sign.The fit was spot on, the length of these wires is good. No wire is not too tight and no wire is resting upon the block. I used the wire guides that were previously installed.When I finally fired up the car, I let it idle to observe how she'd run. Smooth. Gassed it a few times, still smooth.I finally drove it around town and I can tell the car is running alot more healthy. I'm not saying these wires are gonna give massive horsepower gains, I'm saying they seem more reliable. The car felt a bit more responsive and bestowed confidence in mashing gas pedal if need be.These are awesome wires for the price.
