I'm sure these numbers will help other buyers as well.Sizes are approximate and vary slightly to form the tree shape. The large block on the trunk is 1 1/2" tall x 2 1/2"wide. Plenty of room to record children or children with spouses. The parent blocks are 1" tall x 3" wide. The grandparent blocks are 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" wide. The top blocks are vertical, at 1/4" x 3", which allows room to record husband and wife side by side. Where we could not draw blocks wide, we drew tall, giving you more room. You have 15 lined columns along the bottom for additional information. **Q: What are you supposed to put on the lines under the tree roots?** A: You can use those for anything, such as notes on some ancestors special achievements or if you traced beyond 6x great grandparents, you can list them in the lines below and explain where they fall in line. I had one lineage that i was able to trace to my 9x great grandfather, I also used some lines to note relatives that fought in the American Revolution, the War of 1812 and the Civil War.
