Installation was easy for 2008 RAV4. Remove two trim pieces on car, and old radio is held in with four bolts. There are YouTubes on how to remove the old radio. Note you will need to remove the brackets from each side of the old unit and install them on the new unit, but it will fit exactly the same. They do fit on the new unit. The car's audio cables plugged right in to the adapter. Remember to run the GPS antenna up to the dash- you can easily snake the cable over to the passenger side, before you reinstall the new unit. The sound volume does differ in different modes, as reported in other comments. The only real problem so far is that the backup camera sometimes doesn't come on in reverse, but it could be my wiring problem in the back. It works perfectly fine, camera was a bit hard to install since it does not come with instructions. Touch screen is good, only part that is slow for is the volume. You can’t raise is as high and quick.
