He really enjoyed assembling each project and I was thrilled with his delight! Here are some specifics that make this a great gift:1. Very clear instructions. Out of the whole book, my son only made one building error.2. All pieces included. You have to disassemble each project to reuse the pieces, but there isn't any need to find pieces around the house to complete any project.3. Super cool press-outs make each project more fun and interesting. NOTE: my son did need help a few times with pressing these out and taping them together.4. It all fits back in the box/book for storage. NOTE: the box flaps tore so we taped and trimmed them to make them easier to open and close.5. Great hand-on way to learn about simple machines.
